In the film Schindler's List written by Thomas Keneally and Steven Zaillian, directed by Steven Spielberg was released December 15,1993. The stars of the film are Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, and Ben Kingsley. The film was also writtten by the author of the novel which made the film almost exactly the same from the novel. No mayor changes upset the way the film was organize chronologically.
In the film, Schindler's List, it's organized differently from the way the novel is organized and some main impacts from the character of the film and the character from the novel are diffrent. Like on the film, the introduction of the story is diffrent because at the beginning of the novel you meet most of the characters in a dinner at Amon Goeth's place. In the film you meet the main characters throughout the story. Also you meet Helena in the film whom is a main character in the movie, but not so much in the novel. In the film, the girl in the red coat is killed and it made a huge impact on Schindler but in the novel, it made the same impact by seeing her seconds away from her death.
The novel Schindler's List, is organized diffrently in the way the events happen chronologically. Like on the film some stuff happen before and other times after. In the film, the Dresner brothers who are musicians come out but they're never intorduced. Poldek who's one of the main characters in both of the stories is introduced diffrrently in the novel. In the film he is at church and in the novel in apartment with his mother which leades to events in the story that affect the relationship with Schindler.
Overall the movie did follow the main points of the novel. Schindler's List was about how a moderately successful businessman, saved about 1,100 Jews from the gas chambers in the labor camps. He saved them by putting Jews from labor camps onto his list ofworkers to be called to work in his factory. Oskar Schindler was the protagonist of the story and Amon Goeth was the antagonist. I think the film couldn't be any better. It followed the novel throughout the three hours of the film. It may have dropped some events from the novel, but the film was a fantastic film. It was fantastic film because of how it's exactly like the novel. The changes helped the story, it made the same impact on Schindler, but in a simpler way to be fitted into the movie. Some of the changes of the movie were made becasuse it helped the story flow better. Honestly, I enjoyed the movie more than the book becasue it had a better description of the characters, and seeing the movie was like reading the novel twice. Also, because throughout the novel there was many German words which most of the time got me confused of what I was reading. Some events from the film that weren't included in the book made the story much better and more interesting at some points.
